Beginning March 11, 2007, Daylight Saving Time (DST) start and end dates for the United States will transition to comply with the Energy Policy Act of 2005.  Under the new law, Daylight Saving Time will begin the second Sunday of March and end the first Sunday of November, extending the timeframe by four weeks.

Keystone applications, the third-party products used to develop them and the database that they use do not need to be updated. The operating system where the Keystone applications are installed, does need to be updated.

You should contact your systems administrator to have these updates applied to your server. For Windows Active Directory domains, it is important that every computer in the domain be updated before the change to Daylight Saving Time takes place this year.

Below are links to popular web sites regarding changes due to Daylight Saving Time as well as links to the relevant vendor sites for the operating systems supported in our client base.

If you anticipate needing Keystone to participate in your server updates, please open a SCAR by Friday, March 2nd so that we may appropriately align and schedule our technical resources.
